Terms of service

Tap4Meal is a meal-planning service that turns the ingredients you have into dish ideas that respect the allergies and diets of the people you cook for. By creating an account you accept these terms.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, including allergens and dietary rules for every person in your household, and for keeping your sign-in details private. Tap4Meal is intended for people aged 16 or over (13 or over where local law permits with a guardian's consent).

Tap4Meal filters dish ideas using the information you provide, but it cannot inspect your kitchen, your packaging or your cooking. Dish ideas, ingredient lists and instructions are suggestions, not medical or dietary advice.

Always read the label on every product you use and take your own precautions for severe allergies, cross-contamination and food intolerance. Tap4Meal does not guarantee that any dish is free of any allergen.

When you host, you can share a link that lets guests submit their name, allergies, diets and dish preferences without creating an account. Only share the link with people you invite. Links expire, and guest responses are deleted when you delete the cook session.

The Tap4Meal name, interface, design, prompts, recipe library and dish-photo library are owned by Tap4Meal. You may use recipes and photos generated for you for your own personal, non-commercial cooking. You may not scrape, bulk-export, resell or use them to train a competing model.

Content you enter — inventory, eater profiles, notes, plans — remains yours. You grant Tap4Meal a licence to process it in order to run the service, as described in the Privacy notice and the AI and machine learning notice.

Tap4Meal lists products from partner retailers. Prices, availability, substitutions, delivery and collection are set and fulfilled by the retailer, not by Tap4Meal. You pay the retailer on delivery or collection unless stated otherwise at checkout.

Affiliate disclosure: Tap4Meal earns a commission from the retailer on orders placed through the app. This never changes the price you pay, and it is how the service stays free with no subscription.

Cancellations, refunds and issues with an order are handled through the Orders tab, and are subject to the retailer's own terms.

Do not use Tap4Meal to break the law, to upload other people's personal data without their knowledge, to attempt to access other households' data, or to abuse the AI features (for example, automated bulk generation). We may suspend accounts that do.

The service is provided "as is". We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that AI output is accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tap4Meal is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You can delete your account at any time from Privacy & consent inside the app. Deleting your account removes your household, inventory, eater profiles, sessions, plans and lists.
